About
Meghan Howard grew up around the once-booming steel town of Sharon, PA. Early on, she felt drawn to the historic architecture and gritty textures of the largely vacant buildings downtown, which served as inspiration during her high school 35mm black and white photography class. Later, while taking a color photography class at university, she developed an unexpected appreciation for color after experimenting with abstraction.
Over time, Meghan has found that combinations of color and texture form a language that can be framed to create a statement. Photography remains one of the clearest forms of expressing the melancholy, confusion, and beauty she sees and feels in this world.
Meghan moved to Seattle, WA in 2007 and resides there today.
